Due to an unfortunate dinner conflict, I missed out on the adventure to the bookstore :/
Currently, I am finalizing my San Francisco itinerary and factoring in a few unforeseen events into the "gap" hours.
Oh. And I made cheater flashcards with directions to each place that I want to go written across the front, and detailed maps pasted onto the back.
It's a good thing I'm doing this trip alone; I think I'd drive a travel mate bonkers. Muhaha. But the only thing as fun as a trip is PLANNING a trip.
Flashcard 1: SFO Airport to my hotel, including a Bart trip and a bus and a ten minute walk. WOOhoo.
Flashcard 2: my hotel to Fort Mason.
The list continues. I have Mills College and USF in there, along with the Opera House, Land's End, some obscure wine bar I want to try (alone in a strange city? I better wear black and a beret and bring a book of poetry).
I'm quite the little adventurer. I'd promise to keep you posted; however, I'm not bringing my computer. I'll journal to your hearts and have many ridiculous tidbits on which you may feast upon my return.
Unless somewhere on the adventure I manage to hijack a computer.
In a few hours, it will be illegal for me to say that word.

Oh, and the bookstore was awesome! I really like that place...was able to get my Abe Lincoln book signed by the author, so that was really cool.
